Reservation, accommodation, and cancellation terms

Läsäkosken Kartano Oy follows these terms and conditions in the rental of fishing rights and accommodation facilities. These terms are binding on both parties after the customer has paid Läsäkosken Kartano Oy the reservation payment specified in the terms and conditions.

Reservation Terms

Reservation is confirmed once Läsäkosken Kartano Oy has received the reservation payment and marks it as received by confirming the reservation and sending a reservation confirmation to the customer. The customer has paid the reservation payment and received the reservation confirmation to the email provided during the reservation.

If the customer does not make payments on time, Läsäkosken Kartano Oy reserves the right to cancel the reservation without further notice.

If the holiday accommodation is not accepted or accepted late, the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent. If the customer interrupts their reservation and leaves the holiday accommodation before the end of the rental period, no compensation will be paid for the unused time, and the customer is not entitled to a refund of the rent.

When reserving fishing rights and/or accommodation, the customer understands and agrees that in the event of cancellation or no-show, the normal reservation and cancellation conditions of Läsäkosken Kartano Oy apply in the aforementioned situations (pandemic/epidemic). 

Cancellation Terms

If the cancellation occurs less than 2 months before the start of the reservation, the entire booking amount will be charged. If the cancellation occurs earlier than 2 months, the price for the first day will be charged.

If the canceled period is rented to another, a processing fee of 60€ will be charged, and any remaining amount will be refunded from the difference in rental prices.

Cancellations of reservations due to global or local epidemics or pandemics (e.g., COVID-19, coronavirus) or due to travel restrictions caused by them, or the customer’s decision not to use their reservation or to terminate the reservation, do not constitute a Force Majeure situation.

Staying at the reserved location

The reserved location is available to the customer generally from the arrival day starting at 3 p.m.

The specific check-in time and method for accommodation and key handover will be mentioned in the booking confirmation, which the customer is obligated to check.

The rental includes the right to use the reserved location for the booked period. Normal energy consumption, furniture, cooking and dining utensils, tableware, mattresses, blankets, and pillows are included in the price.

Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental unless otherwise stated in the description of the accommodation. Customers must use bed linen. Bed linen and towels can be ordered at the time of booking if they are not included in the rental of the accommodation. Customers should ensure the availability of bed linen and towels in advance from the property description or customer service.

The customer is responsible for the general cleanliness of the reserved location during the reservation.

The reserved location may be used by the maximum number of people specified in the description of the accommodation as the number of beds or as agreed at the time of booking. Parties and other events must be agreed upon in advance with Läsäkosken Kartano Oy.

The use of a tent, caravan, or rental equipment (e.g., hot tub) on the site of the reserved location without the owner’s permission is prohibited.

Smoking and burning incense or similar substances are prohibited in all indoor areas of the reserved location.

Bringing a pet to the reserved location must be notified at the time of booking. Pets are only allowed in locations where they are permitted.

Läsäkosken Kartano Oy's Right to Cancel Reservation

In case of force majeure, water conditions, water temperature, fish spawning, fish research, or other reasons, Läsäkosken Kartano Oy reserves the right to cancel the reservation and fishing rights. We reserve the right to change the rules.

In such a situation, the customer has the right to transfer the paid reservation to another chosen time or to the following season. If the customer wishes to cancel the reservation in this context, we will refund the reservation fee minus a handling fee of 60€.

If the reservation has to be interrupted due to the customer’s disruptive behavior, no refunds will be made.

If the customer does not make payments on time, Läsäkosken Kartano Oy reserves the right to cancel the reservation without further notice.

Customer's obligations and handover of the rental property on the departure date

The customer shall hand over the rental property and its keys on the departure date no later than 12:00 PM. Instructions regarding the handover of the property and keys, as well as the catch report, are provided in the booking confirmation, which the customer is obliged to review. If the customer departs at another time, arrangements for key handover must be made with the owner well in advance.

The customer is responsible for any damages caused to the rental property. Any damage must be reported immediately to the owner or the responsible party. The customer is liable to compensate Läsäkosken Kartano Oy for any damages caused.

The customer is responsible for cleaning the rental property at the end of the stay.

The final cleaning includes washing and putting away dishes, taking out the trash, removing empty bottles and cans, returning furniture to its original position, disposing of food items or taking them to the trash, and leaving the outdoor area and grill clean and tidy.

The customer is liable to cover the cleaning costs and any additional expenses resulting from negligence, exceeding normal cleaning costs (€160).

If the customer has rented linens and towels or if they are included in the rental price, they must be stacked on the bed upon departure.

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the rental property. The rental property must be left in a clean condition upon departure. The customer is obliged to pay for cleaning expenses if smoking has occurred indoors, or if cleaning has not been performed or has been insufficiently performed, and the caretaker of the property has to arrange for cleaning before the arrival of the next customer.
